Hiya all,

not long ago I posted about the BB core being a pain and failing to extrude properly.

well here is the reason why:

some how the PVA lined the hot end and narrowed it it by about 2mm. when the problem started I had done a few hot and cold pulls to resolve the issue. on the 3 or 4th time, with a few failed prints in between, it came out. during the hot and cold pulls it wasn't apparent that this was the case. however you can see in the pictures the issue at hand. it is now printing fine but am a bit miffed that at least half of the 350gr got wasted due to this.

hope this will help any one that is having the same problem.

basically this is how it came out: during the hot pull, I extruded by hand a length of PLA then with a bit of force I yanked it out. It didn't come out with the cold pull. having said that obviously the process at this point I wasn't at the cold pull stage any way but I am referring to previous attempts .

regards

Rebekah Anderson
