ColorFabb steelfill UM3

Hello everybody, is the Ultimaker 3 ready out of the box to print WITH steelfill filaments?

Or is it required a nozzle replacement?

I read a warning on the colorfabb website about this material, which turns out to be very abrasive and could damage brass nozzles.

I recommend you use a HardCore from 3DSolex with an Everlast nozzle on it for printing abrasive filaments like colorFabb SteelFill.

Following Dim3nsioneer's advice, I would also contact gr5 or visit his online store. I just upgraded my nozzles and printcores and it was a splendiferous transaction.

I am waiting for a 6 day print to finish (Now 5 days-2hrs) and then I am putting in my new 3D Solex printcores with Everlast (I think...it is the Sapphire nozzle though) in and banging out a few steel, copper and brass filaments just to try them out. But, that is next week

Pretty darned psyched about it though!!!!

Do these 3DSolex cores work without hassle? I ask because I've just come across a discussion thread which suggests that a 3DSolex printcore may be causing problems with UM3s because they have some settings within the printcores which can interact problematically with UM3 machine settings.
