cura 3.2.1 cant find retraction settings

Posted · cura 3.2.1 cant find retraction settings

my 3d printer has started stringing and to fix it i needed to fix the retraction settings but i am unable to find them. for my printer i am using the cr 10 mini and for gcode flavor i'm using ultimaker 2. if someone could help that would be great. thanks

    Just go to preferences-->Configure Cura-->Settings. You can unhide them there. Or, you can click on the gear icon next to the arrow on the material tab and unhide it there. The first method lets you see all the options to unhide. The second is section by section.

    Not for gcode flavor "Ultimaker 2"....  - retraction length and speed are adjusted on the printer itself in this case.

    This gcode flavor is not suited for other printers than the UM2(+) series.

    The um2 is the only gcode that I have found that works with my printer (the cr 10 mini) and I haven't found the setting on the printer so if anyone knows a different gcode to use could you let me know.

    I have the CR-10, I use the RepRap as my Gcode Flavor. When I was setting it up someone said to use that so I picked it.
