Ultimaker 3: Print head shaft coming out of sliding block.

One of the rods popped out of its slot in the sliding block (first picture). I put it back in, but it isn't fitting snugly like the other blocks are, and it looks like it will eventually work its way back out (second picture). What is a long term solution to this? Should I order another sliding block?

When I replaced my old UMO+ Sliding Blocks with the ones from the UM2 it also was a bit tricky at the beginning.

Sometimes you could only achieve a snug fit if you press the rod in at both sliding blocks at the same time. In your case, it could work if you press the head shaft in the front and back sliding block. Sometimes you have to apply much pressure in order to achieve a snug fit as well.

It could be the slider blocks are worn out. This might happen over a few thousand print hours if the alignment of the print head axes is not perfect.Simply replace the sliding blocks (can be done in-situ); your reseller should be able to get new blocks (half shells) for you.
