Posted · SMB Share Cura 4.0 Linux Mint

Greetings!

Maybe a dumb question, but here goes....

I'm running Cura 4.0 on Linux Mint. My STL files are stored on a server. The open files dialogue in Cura does not give access to anything other than local files. There is no way I can see that allows me access to an SMB share on a server?

Any help appreciated.

Paul

You have to mount the smb share, then you can access it.

This is not special for Cura, but with Linux you always have to mount a remote share to access the files. If you use usually a GUI, then the GUI mounts it for you in the background.
