Posted · Can I control ultimaker remotely?

I have an control system for a  productoin line, and I want to add the 3D print to this line as a new work cell.

Can I use my control system to control the ultimaker cura?

I can configure and finish settings in advance. So ,my basic need is that sending  "start" signal to the ultimaker cura and recieve "done"signal from cura.

You can control an Ultimaker printer remotely (if you have one then which type?).

You can run cura from the command line or on a webserver to slice an STL file and get a GCODE file.

Which of these 2 things are you asking about?  They are mostly unrelated.
