Separate UM2 threads?

Just wondering...

Spending a lot of time, filtering the right info for yourself as a reader.

Is it time for a separate UM2 Thread/Forum, with all the UM2's flying all over the world this week?

Guess they will have some different tips/tricks (no problems :-P ) than our old printers.

I don't think it is a good idea. Both Ultimaker machines share many concepts so any additional tips and help might benefit both. Since posters usually state which Ultimaker they have, there shouldn't be any problems.

I also think it would not be a great idea, as all the questions regarding UM1 are relevant for the UM2, and vise versa :)

maybe for some technical aspects of the machine you can create a separate thread.

Couldn't the forum just be tweaked in some way to ask a user if his/her post is specifically oriented towards one of the two UM versions... If a user then chooses one of them, the post headline has a prefix added... something along those lines?

    It does not seem complicated.

In addition we could add up, tris the choice to display only the version concerned.

Either nothing is checked: We track the posts UM1 + UM2

1 is checked either Um: We see only the posts UM1

2 is checked either Um: We see only the posts UM2

    But sorting becomes necessary indeed!
