Hi Everybody

I am a new member of Ultimaker Community and a beginner, using:
Printrbot Simple Metal 3d printer
Cura 4.4.1 slicing application
and
Pronterface as the printing host

I would like to start all over again with the correct settings so that my printer(simple metal), slicing application(cura) and printing host(pronterface) can communicate and work together.

What should my Printer and Extruder 1 settings be under Cura Settings / Printer / Manage Printer / Machine Settings? (attached).
Especially the correct g code for start and end (attached).

What should my Pronterface settings be under Pronterface / Settings / Options / Printer settings? (attached).
What should my Pronterface settings be under Pronterface / Settings / Options / External commands? (attached).
How can I remove Slic3r on pronterface and replace it with Cura as the default slicer?

Appreciate Your help!

    Hello,

I am using a PrintrBot simple metal too. I will use printrun on an Ubuntu development desktop to test things.

    ...

CURA keeps, w/ slicing, promoting a negative X Value for my prints in gcode. I cannot use the current setup of slicing w/in CURA to handle such prints.

Anyway, I thought I would contact you in case you figured something out.

    Seth
