Print Core in UM 3E recognized wrong

Hello,

we recently bought new, original printcores for our Ultimaker 3E. Those are the AA 0.8 and BB 0.8 cores.
The installation of the AA 0.8 went well but the BB 0.8 is recognized by the printer as BB 0.4.

I already checked:
-Firmware up to date (5.2.11, the latest as shown by the UM website)

-Pins are cleaned with alcohol

 

However it still gets recognized wrong-is this a known problem ?

    It has happened a few times that cores have been programmed incorrectly. It's possible to re-program the core on your own and that would probably get you back to printing a lot faster than contacting your reseller to have it exchanged/fixed. See this thread:
