Printing temperature

Hi there. I'm printing with cura 4.5 and Geeetech A20M printer. Everything went pretty smooth. I just selected the printer from the printer list and everything works pretty fine as is.

The only problem I have is temperature. Besides I tell cura to print pla at 200º, It will always end up printing 215º. I really don't know where is this taking this 15 extra degrees from.

On materials, I set generic PLA at 200º.

At first stage, when heating up it will display 200ª as the limit, but after reaching 200ª it will raise up to 215ª and start printing.

Any idea on this?

Thanks a lot.

It might be a setting on the printer itself.  I've seen this feature on some printers.

Also note that cura has many temperatures so type "temp" into the setting window in Cura.

Also you can open the gcode and search for "S215".  It should not appear anywhere in the entire gcode file.  If it does then it's a cura issue.  If it doesn't then it's a A20M issue.

So, I did what you say. I went through the code and found that "s225" few lines after "s200". It seems cura is doing something there.

Printer iPLA standard hotend temperature is set to 190, but as soon as I open the sd file, gcode overrides the printer temperature as it should. As I said goes up to 200 and then to 215.

I wil search throught those different temp types. Right now I don't have cura with me.

Thanks a lot for your reply.
