As far as I know yes, thats also the reason why you should always do a factory reset after changing the firmware branches, to clean up old or "foreign" values.

A factory reset marks the stored settings as invalid and loads the default values (at least that is how it is intended to work 🙂).
The runtime statistics are preserved.
