Print Settings Panel disabled

Hello,

 

First of all I am new to 3D printing.    I have an Ender 5 as my entry into this hobby.  I was working on a print yesterday, and all was OK.  Today when I opened Cura 4.6.1 to work on the the same print, the "Print Settings Panel" is disabled (see red oval).  I could not find the same issue in the forum, so any assistance would be appreciated.

You have opened a gcode-file rather than an STL (or other 3d-model file supported by Cura), that's why you can't change any settings.
