Hello, my Ultimaker has stopped printing, the message appeared yesterday "Error:mind temp" in ulticontroller. I have moved the wires from the plate and no longer get the error, but the temperature does not rise. I have seen where it is written Heater 1 has melted solder ... I thought that if I change the cables and put in place the Heater 2 (what is perfectly welding) could be a solution. What do you think? Is it possible? would have to make changes in the firmware?

thank you in advance.

mintemp indicates not the heater but the thermocouple that is having problems.

Does it properly read room temperature now? Around 25C?

If so, then when you fixed the thermocouple you broke the heater. Check those wires carefully.

(by the way - I fixed the spelling error in the title of this topic - I hope you don't mind)

Hi! gr5, thank you for your answer. And for the fixing ;)

I have good news, I finally got to fix my Ultimaker. The problem was in a weld, had little tin. I soldered one pin on the motherboard "Heater 1" and now works fine.

    Thx!
