Firmware 5.2.16 for the Ultimaker 3 (Extended) available now

Hi all,

 

We've released a small update for the Ultimaker 3. You can upgrade to 5.2.16 as of today. This gives the Ultimaker 3 some more functionality within the Digital Factory.

 

Release notes:

 

·        Digital Factory integration. Print jobs sent via cloud show print job preview images in the Digital Factory. Printer discovery including connection, cancelling, and removal have been made more robust

·        Digital Factory functionality. The Ultimaker 3 will be able to start, stop, pause, and resume print jobs remotely

·        Updated UI elements. Some UI elements have been updated to more closely match the new Ultimaker branding, and the "add printer to group" UI was simplified

Still stuck on 4.3.3 until this bug is fixed. Can you guys confirm?

Hi,

just installed the new FW and as far I could test, it's working well.

 

The only issue I noticed is the "Analytics Material Bug"

 

It's nice to know that ending production of the UM3 doesn't mean dropping of support / FW developement 🙂.

This build indeed still contains that bug (it was made a little while ago). Hopefully there'll be another build soon with some of these bug fixes that were already released on the S3 and S5, as well as additional features for the Digital Factory.
