Posted · Update Firmware UM3 Ext. loopt vast van versie 4.3.3 naar 5.2.16

Bij updaten van de Firmware van mijn UM3 Ext. van versie 4.3.3 naar 5.2.16 bleef in het display "3 minutes remaining" staan, dit zo'n 3 kwartier tot een uur laten staan, ik heb deze toen toch uit gezet ondanks dat dat niet juist is maar kon niets anders, nu bij opstarten blijft er enkel nog "ULTIMAKER" in het display staan en verder gebeurt er niets. Ik heb al geprobeerd om op een Micro SD kaartje een recovery file te zetten en deze te verwisselen met het Micro Sd kaartje in de printer maar ook dit lukt niet.. display blijft dan zwart,  iemand nog tips?

Heb je deze instructies gelezen? https://support.ultimaker.com/hc/en-us/articles/360011587199

Wanneer je van 4.3.3 naar 5.2.16 wilt, dan moet je dat via een 'stepping stone' versie doen, omdat er bij 5.2.16 wat essentiele veranderingen zijn doorgevoerd. Ik weet niet welke recovery image je hebt geprobeerd te gebruiken, maar ik zal je de juiste bestanden via een DM toesturen.

volgens mij stond of staat 4.3.3 erop, maar dat kan ik nu niet meer zien. als ik de printer nu aanzet gaat in de printkop heel even een fan draaien ,maar het schermpje blijft zwart.

    Beste Sander, @SandervG

     

    zou je mij ook hiermee kunnen helpen. Na een jaar, door omstandigheden, stil gestaan te hebben vandaag de UM3 weer aangezet. Ging gelijk een firmware update uitvoeren. Sindsdien 3 mislukte prints, na enkele minuten. Fabrieksinstellingen terug gezet, nu herstart de UM3 zich na een printopdracht..

     

    05JUN2021 aanvulling:

    Omdat ik steeds het zelfde bestand wilde printen heb ik nu een ander STL bestand gepakt. Maar ook hierbij na een minuut of twintig printen start de printer opnieuw op en geeft hierna de melding dat de print mislukt is.

     

    Ik ga nu kijken of ik een andere slicer kan gebruiken.

     

    Hoop dat je mij kan helpen.

    Vervolg:

     

    Vandaag, zondag 6 juni, Cura 4.7 geïnstalleerd om te kijken of het hier eventueel aan zou kunnen liggen.

    Deze Cura versie is uiterst traag op de pc maar het was gelukt om een printopdracht naar mijn UM3 te sturen.

     

    Na de autolevel begon deze aan de print. Maar na een minuut of 8 printen begon de LED verlichting te flikkeren en hierna startte de printer zichzelf opnieuw op. Weer met de melding:'print mislukt'. 

     

    Heeft iemand anders ook deze problemen ervaren?

     

    @SandervG, hoe kan ik dit oplossen?

        The UltiMaker S7 is built on the success of the UltiMaker S5 and its design decisions were heavily based on feedback from customers.
         
         
        So what’s new?
        The obvious change is the S7’s height. It now includes an integrated Air Manager. This filters the exhaust air of every print and also improves build temperature stability. To further enclose the build chamber the S7 only has one magnetically latched door.
         
        The build stack has also been completely redesigned. A PEI-coated flexible steel build plate makes a big difference to productivity. Not only do you not need tools to pop a printed part off. But we also don’t recommend using or adhesion structures for UltiMaker materials (except PC, because...it’s PC). Along with that, 4 pins and 25 magnets make it easy to replace the flex plate perfectly – even with one hand.
         
        The re-engineered print head has an inductive sensor which reduces noise when probing the build plate. This effectively makes it much harder to not achieve a perfect first layer, improving overall print success. We also reversed the front fan direction (fewer plastic hairs, less maintenance), made the print core door magnets stronger, and add a sensor that helps avoid flooding.
         

         
        The UltiMaker S7 also includes quality of life improvements:
        Reliable bed tilt compensation (no more thumbscrews) 2.4 and 5 GHz Wi-Fi A 1080p camera (mounted higher for a better view) Compatibility with 280+ Marketplace materials Compatibility with S5 project files (no reslicing needed) And a whole lot more
