Tree Support

I just downloaded Cura 4.8, and I cannot seem to find the "Enable Tree Support" setting. I know it is typically under the Experimental section. I had an older version of Cura, and that is where it was. Everything I have seen online says it is there as well. It is not there when I search for it in Cura 4.8 though. It gives me the tree support setting in the Support section like "Tree Support Branch Angle" and "Tree Support Branch Distance," but I cannot find where to actually turn it on.

Hello, there is a fair chance you will find it under 'Support structure'. You can choose between Normal/Tree. Good luck!

No there is no option. I updated to 4.8 and I can not find it either. You can select

Generate support

support placement; touch buildplate, everywhere

support overhang angle

I tried to edit top post, it wouldn't let me.

 

You must open the config gear next to support option.

In the upper right hand corner select Advanced. it should now appear in support structure.
