Using Cura 4.8 on macOS 11 Big Sur, I cannot select or interact with objects placed in the software.

I can select using CMD A, but then, trying to click the "move" arrows, the selection is undone.

Please advice what you need from me to get the investigation underway.

Thank you 🙂

    I've got the same issue.

I'm new to Cura, so I spent the last 3 days thinking that I was doing something wrong.

    Same problem here and more.

Working with Cura 4.8 on Big Sur 11.1

    - I can't select an object

    - Preview doesn't work. Sometimes I get a build plate with the object shadow, or else it's a white screen.

    - Monitor doesn't work.

    - I have 2 printers and they have different names, but in the drop down there is only one name, twice.

    - Cura can't retrieve the materials loaded.

After restarting Cura some problems can be gone for some time, but suddenly they are all back.

It works for me, but from time to time it does stop working and down the above so i have to close Cura and reopen it to get it working again.

    I'm on Big Sur 11.1

I have the same problem, does anyone have any solution. I'm getting to work more or less using the app in low resolution, giving less problems.

Yes, I can confirm this behaviour in Big Sur 11.1 as well. When trying to rotate the object I have to restart the application after a period of use. Seems to be some kind of runtime issue.

Having the same issues here. Cura 4.8.0 and MacOS 11.1. It's driving me crazy and I'm having a bunch of other issues with my printer that I'm trying to rule out what's causing it and I can't rule out Cura bugs. Gonna have to try another slicer and see. Any updates, fixes, workarounds, progress anyone's heard of?

My solution turned out to be PrusaSlicer 😉
