Posted · How do I enable tree supports in Cura 4.9.1

I have not been able to find how to get tree supports.  How do I enable it so I can select it for my prints?

I don't think it makes a difference but I am using Cura 4.9.1 with a Monoprice Make Select Pro Ultimate printer.

It is theoretically possible for a printer definition to remove the option to select "Tree" from that list. Since Ultimaker Cura does not come with a definition of the "Monoprice Make Select Pro Ultimate" printer, I wonder what printer definition you use.

I use the Monoprice Ultimate printer definition.  I believe it came with one of the previous versions of Cura I downloaded.  I don't see anything in it that would remove the "Tree" option.

I use a Creality 3D Printer. I have the same problem. I can only find " Support normal" . There is no tree support listed

    Best regards

It is there. You will find it under support structure.

I found this option after previously not being able to see it. Next to the "Search Settings" there is a three-bar menu. Select "Advanced." Now you can configure support infill and enable tree support.
