Cura not detecting cylinder

Hey all,

I am trying to design a part to print for a rocket that I am creating and I have run into a problem. The STL file I am importing from Tinkercad looks all well in the "Prepare" section on Cura (version 4.9.1) but when I slice it and preview the part the cylinder is missing. I have no idea why this is happening and any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much,

Yuzki

Works for me.  What do you have for your line width?  Even with 0.6mm line width it slices just fine for me.

    Hey gr5,

Thank you very much for your advice, I bumped up the thickness to 0.8mm and just as you said, it works!

    Many thanks,

    Yuzki

0.2?  You mean 0.2mm layer height?

I was talking about the parameter "line width".  You want that to be 1/2 as the width of the walls you are printing.  Or smaller.  But your fins were nice and thick - easy to print even with 0.6mm nozzle (and 0.6mm line width).

I might have been looking at the layer height, sorry. My line width is at 0.4mm and it is coming out fine on Cura. I've just began printing it now so I'll have to wait and see what happens but thank you very much for your help.
