Hi,

I tried Cura 4.8/4.9 and 4.10 appimage on fedora 34 and it is working fine except the backup plugin.

When clicking on the "sign in" button nothing happens, but I am seeing the following error:

     35013: /usr/lib64/libQt5Gui.so.5: error: version lookup error: version `Qt_5_PRIVATE_API' not found (required by /tmp/.mount_Ultima3feLGG/usr/bin/qt/plugins/platforms/libqxcb.so) (fatal)
QLibraryPrivate::loadPlugin failed on "/tmp/.mount_Ultima3feLGG/usr/bin/qt/plugins/platforms/libqxcb.so" : "Cannot load library /tmp/.mount_Ultima3feLGG/usr/bin/qt/plugins/platforms/libqxcb.so: (/usr/lib64/libQt5Gui.so.5: version `Qt_5_PRIVATE_API' not found (required by /tmp/.mount_Ultima3feLGG/usr/bin/qt/plugins/platforms/libqxcb.so))"
qt.qpa.plugin: Could not load the Qt platform plugin "xcb" in "" even though it was found.
This application failed to start because no Qt platform plugin could be initialized. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.

Available platform plugins are: linuxfb, minimal, offscreen, vnc, webgl, xcb, eglfs, minimalegl, wayland-egl, wayland, wayland-xcomposite-egl, wayland-xcomposite-glx.

/usr/bin/xdg-open: Zeile 613: 35013 Abgebrochen             (Speicherabzug geschrieben) kde-open${KDE_SESSION_VERSION} "$1"

(I exported LD_DEBUG=libs before starting cura).

I am not sure how to fix this, but I suppose that libQt5Gui.so.5 should also be packaged into the appimage instead of using the OS version?

Can anyone help please?

Best regards and thanks in advance,

Otto

    Sorry I've never used the backup plugin.  I don't save my settings in "profiles" but instead save them in "projects" and those get backed up along with everything else I care about on my computer.
