Posted · CURA 4,11 - Delta Printer - controlling relative under extrusion

Hello all,

I am printing a tall and narrow pyramid style model in vase mode ( spiralize outer contour / Smooth spiralized contours ). Printer is a well tuned Anycubic Predator with the OEM controller and firmware ( yeh, I know I have to go open source ASAP ). Prints are beautiful and smooth as they should be all the way up to almost 350mm height of the pyramid and then suddenly ugliness starts in the form of a major " under extrusion ". Are there settings that I should consider using to prevent this obvious under extrusion towards the narrower top of the pyramid?

CURA 4,11, Anycubic Predator, PLA, Layer height 0.324, Nozzle 0.5, Wall Line Width 0.5, Printing temperature 205, Flow 100%, Wall Flow 110%, Wall Speed 30 mm/s, Fan 100%, * Spiralize outer contour ( yes ) , Smooth spiralize contour ( yes ), Enable Coasing ( yes),

I was able to print similar vase-mode model with the same printer last year with earlier versions of CURA. Unfortunately I lost all my presets and profiles with the Mac that ran them in an accident. As far as I remember the profile I used in the past was not something very special.

I apologize for not being able to attach an image.
