Posted · how to print with 1.75mm diameter instead of 2.85mm?

i have ultimaker 2 3d printer in which filament diameter 2.85mm can work but the problem is one of the client is demanding his part in colour which is only available in 1.75mm filament diameter;i have lots of unused 1.75mm dia. filament.can i print in ultimaker 2 printer with 1.75mm dia instead of 2.75mm dia???

    See the first comment in that thread; it has my opinion. Your printer wasn't made for 1.75mm. It will probably not break by trying to use it, but it may clog fairly badly. If you don't mind the risk and fixing a clog, sure, go ahead an try it. I would not recommend printing with 1.75mm unsupervised (eg overnight, or during the weekend).

    From Colorfabb you can order any RAL color you like.
