Ultimaker Cura time behaves erratically

I've encountered a strange issue where the "Printing Time" and "Estimated time left" both jump around randomly forwards and backwards in time. what makes it even weirder is that they are not changing by the same amount.

also when i preview the print time ig gives seemingly random and low values that change every time i re hover my mouse over it (picture linked).
