Cura not playing nicely

I have always used Cura and it has always performed without a hitch........until today.

When i try to import an stl file the program just shuts down! I have tried an uninstall and clean install but the problem persists.

Very frustrating.

Does anyone have any thoughts or come across the same problem?

So basically it's Chitubox that is not playing nicely and it breaks things rather dramatically for other software.
