Ultimaker S3 hangs at "printing" state

After a print is finished a new one can't be started because the printer is hanging in the "printing" status. The touch screen on the machine will show "confirm removal" and after pressing the button the screen returns to idle, but cura still thinks it's printing. The printer must be power cycled to return to idle.

I think you mean the Digital Factory where you see a wrong state?

It is not normal, but I guess that the printer has lost the connection to the DF for whatever reason.

 

Was it just one time or do you have the problem after every print?

it's happened every time I've completed a print over the last two weeks. I did just move the printer to a new location and had to remove/re-add it to digital factory once it got on the new network. I  assume that confused something.

I would try to remove and re-add it again, maybe that solved the problem.
