Printing Cleaner Text

Hi. For some time I've wanted to use our S5 at work in dual-extruder mode to print equipment panels with provisions for mounting switches, etc. along with corresponding text. I created a small switch "ON", "OFF" panel for experimentation and printed ToughPLA white letters (0.4" thick) in a black plate (0.1" thick). I used Cura 4.0.0 with an AA 0.4 nozzle with Cura set to "Fine" print quality. I performed an X-Y calibration. The font was Ariel, bold, 0.25". I multiplied the model and flipped one so that the text was against the build plate on one and on the top for the other.

The results were... okay. The print with the text side up looked decent, though the black seemed to contaminate the white "O" letters a bit. The print with text against the build plate looked relatively "mushy" with both "O" characters having about twice the line width as the "N" and "F" characters.

Any tips for realizing sharp, consistent text with contrasting panels would be appreciated. Ultimately I'd like the option to print even smaller text.

Thanks!
