Ultimaker 3+ calibration error

Hi Guys,

my Ultimaker 3+ extended makes me big problems during the Z axis auto and manual calibration process. I got an error, that I have to check my build plate and/or printcores.  I have recognized , that the switch/button for the 2nd  printcore is not working as excepted. If I want to set the Z offset during the calibration process the 2nd printcore is not coming down. I have plugged in different printcores like A04 | A08 , A08|A08 and A08|A04. I have already checked the capacity sensor cables. Who of you can help me out?

Cheers

You can manually recalibrate the switch process. Check the menu, somewhere under maintenance and follow the instructions there. I guess that will solve your problem and the switch should be work again.

What do you mean with up down commands? Do you mean to raise/lower the bed?

For the calibration of the switch there is afaik no up/down command.

I have to check it later on my S5, but as far as I can remember from the last calibration, you do all the steps in the calibration process manually. So you start recalibrating in the menu and then follow the instructions there. You have to manually switch the cores with the side switch on the print head, then move the head by hand to the right side that the lever fits into the slot and so on.
