Cheers UlrichC-DE,

Thank you for your time.

The board pulleys? are these the GT belt pulleys. I have cleaned and oiled the linear rails.

Should I just loosen the hex screws on the pulleys and re tighten them?

Regards

    Hello

A little oil to the "belts" does not hurt. Sounds unusual, but it helps.

I would not loosen the "GT belt pulleys". First try to oil something.

Because they are difficult to tighten again.

    Many greetings

I have an old UM2 here rattling for several years now. The belts become hard over time and make more noise. Adjusting the alignment exactly is difficult or impossible with the belt lengths. Therefore, either major surgery with new belts or some oil. The result is the same.

Cheers, I will give that a go and let you know the results.
