"automatically drop models to the build plate" doesn't deactivate

I didn't use Cura for a while, and now I need to deactivate the option "automatically drops models to the build plate" to keep two STL files at their right positions (one of them is to print supports). I deactivated it but there is no effect on the actual behavior when I drag and drop STL files in the widow : it puts the two STL next to each other on the buildplate instead of putting them at their right place ...
Do someone happened to have this bug too ?
Best regards

"Automatically drops models to the build plate" only deals with the Z axis. There's another option "Ensure models are kept apart" you may want to look at.

Even if the STLs are put side by side, you can still select them both, right-click and select "Merge models". This does the same as "Group models", but it positions the models back together by their original origin.

"ensure models are kept apart" was already deactivated, but indeed the "Group models" does what I wanted !    Need to first "Merge Models" and then "ungroup models" and it's ready. Thanks

Yes, I explain how to solve it in the previous message. But maybe this has changed since later versions.
