Is it possible to have both AA25mm and AA40 print cores installed at the same time?

Good day,

Yesterday I tried having installed both aforementioned cores on UMS5. However, print settings displayed were for AA25mm. Hence the question: Can I have both cores installed and have a choice which one to use? For instance, I wanted to have a quick print/draft, AA25 was installed in slot 1. I figured, instead of unloading the material, removing AA25mm, installing AA40mm core and loading material back in, I'd just install AA40mm into slot 2 and "mark" that for the print! But no, settings for printing were for AA25mm.

Please advice!

Yes, that is certainly possible. Each extruder has its own profiles. If you want to select a profile for the second extruder, you have to select that extruder above the setting list.

One thing to realise is that because Cura generally can not "mix" different layer heights in a single layer, both extruders will need a profile with the same layer height. This limits the available profiles of you mix two different extruders. You can get around this by going in the extruder configuration in Cura and disabling the extruder you don't use.
