Replacement 2.1.4 Board Advice

Hi guys,

I have a UM2 and bought the UM2+ upgrade kit.

I have installed the kit but am unable to install the new firmware. When plugging in the board I get USB device not recognized error.

I have tried everything in my power to communicate with the board including trying to use the ICSP headers to get a response from the MEGA 2560 and Atmel chips but to no avail.

I'm now looking for a replacement for my 2.1.4 board. Is there a new version of this board that may fit better or should I source a 2.1.4 replacement.

I'm only able to find 3rd party boards like these: https://www.aliexpress.com/i/32796588854.html

Does anyone have any experience with these or would recommend a better board?

Thanks

not sure what the issue is with your original board, but note that the replacement board from a**express.com has those pesky screw terminal instead of the much safer spring loaded ones on the original board.
