Posted · Per Model Sequential Settings

Hello Cura Community

I'm looking to automate (simplify) some string tower tests (both for printers & filaments). In order not to have to return to the printer for each tower, i wanted to try putting 6 on a build plate (taking into account the space around the print head)

So far no issue. However, I don't seem to be able to choose the retraction settings in the per-model settings to make this a different amount per model

Anybody know whether I've missed something, whether this is by design, or if this is an omission that might be resolved in a future release

Thanks

Jim

    Some settings (like Layer Height) are not enabled "Per Model".  A few are noted within the FDMprinter.def.json file.  I don't know if that is a complete listing.  This one is noted...

    "retraction_amount":
                    {blah, blah, blah...
                        "settable_per_mesh": false,
                        "settable_per_extruder": true

    I'm sure there is a reason for that.
