Printing problems

Posted · Printing problems

Hello,

I am currently having problems with my printer. It starts to print well but after a good 10 minutes the print head isn't extruding any material. You can see the problem in the picture. A gear wheel is shown. The outer edges work, the inside also starts well, but suddenly it doesn't pull any more filament.
What I've already tried:
- Temperatures of printing plate print head changed
- Recalibrated
- Mechanics cleaned and checked for functionality
- Software updates
- Printhead changed
- Replaced filamend

Hope you can help me.

Nico

Is the printed inside getting thinner or is it all the same thicknes as the outer edges? --> Is the nozzle touching (or almost touching) the build plate as the plate is getting warmer and possibly bending/warping upwards?

You can try to calibrate the printer after turning on the heated bed for at least 15 minutes...

Have you modified anything prior to this? Updated Firmware? Updated Slicer Version? Any small change?
Is the Extruder still turning? Is the Motor getting too hot?

Sry, i just have too many ideas, as i am not that good at fixing your issue remotely - and i have only one Printer and is that rarely making problems.

The only Problem I had was a cheap filament that was suddenly only 1.2mm in diameter over a few cm instead of the normal 1.75mm - but this made me aware of the extruder tentioning-screw (i just tighten the extruder a bit more for this cheap TPU).
