Posted · Retraction settings from material profile

While variables do exist to access the temperatures configured for a specific material (default_material_print_temperature  and default_material_bed_temperature), variables for further, relevant material-dependent settings are missing.
Why is there no variable to access the other material properties? I would suggest to add i.e.

default_material_retraction_amount

default_material_retraction_retract_speed
default_material_retraction_prime_speed

default_material_cool_fan_speed_max

default_material_cool_fan_speed_min
default_material_cool_fan_speed_0
default_material_print_temperature_layer_0
default_material_bed_temperature_layer_0

... to be accessible via the curaprofile. i.e.:
retraction_amount= =default_material_retraction_amount
