"hightec" sounds

euh, is it me or are there a lot of 'hightec' sounds while printing, like R2D2 is at work ? My wife and kid likes it but i'm not sure. Can you turn it of because i don't have the feeling its the the original sound of the motors... or am i wrong?

The mechanics "hum" at the frequency it get steps. So you get tones depending on the speed.

Nothing to worry about really. Actually, get used to the sound, you'll notice something is wrong when the sound suddenly changes

As long as it is singing happely, be happy. You should be worried when the singing noise turns into an evil "grinding" noise.
