cura 5.0 merging parts together

so if you can see the picture you can see what is supposed to be a planetary gear bearing. the inside stars rotate around the centermost hub, but for some reason cura is deliberately merging what is 2 separate parts purely based on their proximity: the hub spokes cannot rotate if they are part of the outer ring. on previous versions there was a setting to 'fill gaps' or something that i cant find anymore. i could tolerate it on the first layer but its doing it on MOST layers, almost all. help?

    This model just came up with a brim problem.  With the model loaded and Cura set up to slice use the "File | Save Project" command and post the 3mf project file here.  I sliced this with 5.0 and it was fine so it must be a setting.

    Slicing Tolerance must be set to Middle

    And reduce the Horizontal expansion -0.3 is too much
