Slowing Down Infill Extruder Speed? (Anet A8, Cura v5.0.0)
The movements in the preview are "not to scale". Each linear movement, no matter how long it is takes as long as all the others. So the long infill lines seem to be very fast in comparison to all the tiny linear movements of that make up the hull. Do not judge the speed of the actual nozzle by the speed of the nozzle in the preview.
If you want to judge the actual print speed, use the "Speed" color scheme in the preview tab.

Thank you for the information, I assumed that the movements in the Cura preview are not to scale, however I wasn't sure why it was printing the infills so fast... until you told me about the Speed color scheme in the Cura preview. That cleared everything up, and that is a very handy feature that I hope they keep! Turns out I was just looking at the wrong speed settings, I underestimated how fast 30 mm/s really is.
Thank you for the help!
