Cura ignoring internal features

A while ago I printed some bungs in TPU but they were weak and split, so I strengthened them by putting some internal cylinders inside. I know they printed because I could feel them when I squeezed the print.

I not tried the same on a PLA print which is snapping, but this time they are not printed. Not in the print visually while printing and not in the cross section in cura.

Has this feature been removed in newer versions, or if not how do I turn it on again?

Many thanks for your help
