Posted · S7 won't Connect to WiFi or print

New S7 and material manager.
It will Not recognize the WiFi. The S5 is online with the same WiFi and has never had an issue. . When I try to print, it enters an endless loop of pop ups asking me to load material that is already loaded. Clicking abort or ignore does not solve anything.
I have not been able update firmware because it won't connect to the WiFi.

I'd call your reseller immediately about this.

But if you don't want to wait for them to get back to you, I would power down, disconnect the material station (just unplug the cable and open up the feeder levers so they can't move the filament), power back up and get things sorted such as internet, infinite loops, and firmware upgrades and only when things seem fine would I *then* reconnect the material station and close the feeder levers.

I can't help you with the WiFi (contact reseller).

Maybe we can help you with the problem with the filament selection. The printer is asking for PLA Generic.
What filament do you have available in the Material Station? It look like a spool of Ultimaker filament. If you have loaded it and let the NFC detection do its thing, the MS will have recognised it as UM PLA blue. And since that is not the same as PLA generic, the job won't start.

So I think the solution is either to slice for UM PLA blue, or to manually override the material to PLA generic
