Wrong preview Ultimaker Cura

Dear all,

 

I have the following problem with the software Ultimaker Cura.

When I segment the model, it does not show the last layer, so preview is not seen rightly.

I think it happens since yesterday I moved the left bar to see the layers, but now I do not know how to repair it.

I fail to see what is wrong in the screenshot. Can you explain what is not correct?

Sorry @ahoeben, the problem is that the screen does not show the last layer.

In fact, the model is closed at the top, but in the software the last layer is not showed.

Please confirm me if I have explained rightly, thank you so much.

@AnaLara: Can you post the model here so we can see what is going on?

If you save a project (File -> Save project...) and post a link to it here, we can have a look at both your settings and the model.

I was able to replicate the issue in Cura 4.13 and if i change the from the normal ( 0.15mm layer) to fine 0.1mm Layer the top is starting to show.

 

Try making you layer size smaller of make the top thicker.

wait I was to fast now it still shows on 0.3mm layer height, I need to see what else changed during the change from normal to fine

Sorry @dsp, but I am not sure to understand you. It happens the same with all the models which I load, indepently of the layer height.

The last layer (the original model is closed by the top) does not appear when preview, so the model is open by the top).

AnaLara why do you have Spiralize outer Contour checked?

 

If I uncheck it the top layer shows again

When I read the explanation its normal to leave out tops when checked
