To clarify - ultimaker is written to support "generic" printers and then some of those printer users customize cura a bit for extra bonus options like "printing directly" (whatever that means).  Rarely does a chinese company actually contribute anything such as print profiles or machine profiles for their own printers.  Sad really since so many of their users use Cura and since Cura welcomes contributions that help Ultimaker's competitors.

Then, you can upload, or upload AND print right out of Cura itself.
