Air manager cost !

I am trying to comprehend why the S5 air manager is nearly £900 here in the UK, i can't possibly see how the cost is justified, does anyone with one feel it justifies the cost ?, what could it possibly do to be that expensive.

 

It appears to be a fan extractor system in a case, the fan is controlled by the printer, but other than that...... ?

 

Shame the price is so high as i like the concept

Its not worth it. It doesnt even have a carbon filter in it to take care of VOCs. If I were you Id just buy a decent air purifier for half the price and call it a day. I have the air manager on my S5 but I still use an air purifier.

thx, i have a air purifier in the room and open the window etc when printing anything nasty. It feels like a blatant money grab based on the makeup of the air manager itself.  Unless there is some sort of gold leaf inside to make it work 🙂
