Cura 5.3.1 stuck on boot screen?

Fellow Human,

 

Im having an issue with Cura being stuck on the boot screen and will not load past the boot screen, it wont even crash. I have uninstalled it multiple times, I removed previous versions, and still nothing. I updated this to 5.3.1 a few days ago and it was working fine. My laptop dosent have auto updates turned on so I havent updated it in the last week or so. I found on a forum that gave about 15 different ways to remedy the situation. about 7 of them didnt apply to me but i tried everything else and nothing. Need some assistance por flavor!

Sounds like possibly a compatibility issue?
What version were you running before?
