Material station use for multi color print

Is there any consideration by the ultimaker team to use the material station as a color station as other brands are currently doing (we all know who)

From what I read currently this is not possible and it is not what the station was thought to be used for, but I don't see any reason why you couldn't do it and purge the different materials on the sides, and maybe ultimaker could sell (or share the file to print) some sort of purging basket to "glue" on the sides of the machine, this way this kind of prints could be possible, 

I know this kind of multicolor prints are very slow, and since the rivalry company is a "fast printer" this may leave ultimaker poorly rated when compared in speed multi color prints, but, we don't have a ultimaker for speed, we have it for build quality and precision, so I don't think this comparison would go anywhere

        Temperature status. During print preparation, the temperatures of the print cores and build plate will be shown on the display. This gives a better indication of the progress and remaining wait time. Save log files in paused state. It is now possible to save the printer's log files to USB if the currently active print job is paused. Previously, the Dump logs to USB option was only enabled if the printer was in idle state. Confirm print removal via Digital Factory. If the printer is connected to the Digital Factory, it is now possible to confirm the removal of a previous print job via the Digital Factory interface. This is useful in situations where the build plate is clear, but the operator forgot to select Confirm removal on the printer’s display. Visit this page for more information about this feature.
