They're in the quality_changes folder inside Cura's configuration folder. Just copy the files from that folder in the backup to the new configuration folder.

I tried to find the "cura" folder in %APPDATA%. But it is not there. My case is the same, I uninstalled 2 times to clear all the unnecessary files. Then I installed it again, even if I tried installing it to a different folder but the problem still exists. It is stuck in a non-responding loop.

In that case it would be nice to get what information we can, mainly:
- Operating system and version
- CPU
- RAM
- Graphics card and driver version
If those all check out then we'll have to put our thinking caps on 🤔

-Same here, also tried uninstalling, and other versions, only thing that helped was runing it as aministrator wich i shouldn`t need to. And i can`t find the cura folder in the APPDATA folder as well.😕
-Also, when i load a model, it gets stuck slicing, untill i refresh any setting by errasing and writting the same value again.
my specs are:
CPU: Ryzen 5900
Grapics card: nvidia 3080
Graphics driver: version 560.81
Ram: 32gb of ddr4 3200
plz help 😬

Does the configuration folder come up if in Cura you go to Help > Show Configuration Folder? (And if it does... where is it because I'm sort of curious where it'd show up 🤔)

Unfortunately that's a known bug and there's not much you can do about it (other than the workaround you said). Happens to me all the time 😞 so at least you're not alone 🤜🤛

Have you tried resetting the configuration? That persists through uninstalls. Go to %APPDATA% and there should be a folder called cura. Just rename it (in case this works so we can recover what we can) to cura_backup (or anything really) and next time Cura starts it'll create its configuration folder like new, and if that loads we can start copying stuff from the backup to the main folder so you lose as few settings as possible.
IF you Do NOT FIND the folder; This is the SOLUTION! Cura folder is found here; in Appdata\Roaming\ and in \Appdata\Local\. The cura folder 'Appdata\Roaming\cura\' is most likely the culprit, rename it!
