taking a value from a user in an added plugin

hey guys ,

I AM trying to write a plugin named circular pattern which gets and angle and count of the a 3d shape and duplicate it in those angles,btw my problem is that I have alredy ran the function for a fixed value of count and angle but I do not know how to get the values from user ,please help me

I believe all the plugins are written in python so you can look at the code. Try to find a plugin that also asks for data similar to yours and then look at the code. Maybe @ahoeben can help as he has written lots of plugins.

 

Is your code posted somewhere (e.g. github?) so that we can look at it to give more detailed answers?
