Hi, im new to 3D printing.

I got a Glitar 3, a big build chinese 3d printer.

when I save gCode from Cura and send it to the printer, it starts printing on a corner, instead of the center if plate Is there a setting I am missing in Cura? Thanks in advance

In Cura go to the Machine menu and the open the Machine Settings item and review and set for your printer.

Review the "Machine Center 0,0" setting. Change it and see if that helps.

Checked the setting. It was on, so I unchecked it, saved gCode and put it to print but the machine just said "printing" and showed the % but it wasnt really doing anything. Re-checking it made printing again but still on the corner. Also, when I tell it to print, it will calibrate the XYZ axis, but then the plate will lower about an inch, and start printing in the air.

Make sure ultigcode is not turned on.

Look over the generated gcode and compare it to gcode that works.

You can edit start.gcode to match what works. That should at least help with the part where it prints in the air.
