SD WiFi card

Did somebody already tried to use a SD card with build in WiFi for an UM2.

for me it would be very nice to transfer files from my computer trough wifi to my UM2 is that possible I see they are arounf € 40 here in Holland.

Yes, there is a thread somewhere here in the forum about it. You have to search with Google to find it (just add "site:umforum.ultimaker.com").

However, AFAIK they didn't succeed as the WiFi card is not made to be written onto but to be read from. And the firmware is presently missing the support.

Maybe things will be different after the 19th; but this is just pure speculation...

I tested with a Toshiba FlashAir and you can upload stuff over Wifi when connected to a camera but did not manage to make it work on the UM2. I still have a few things to test.

I have Octoprint with USB Wifi. Around € 35 + € 9 for the Wifi dongle.

Now I do have Wifi and I can just drag and drop the file on the webpage

You can do that for free if you have a pc or raspberypi connected via usb.
