Follow Topic should be on by default

IMHO the option to follow a topic, where the user has posted in a thread or started a new one, should be "on" by default.

I thought so too in the beginning, but then I replied to so many topics it became a burden

Yes, but you are an experianced user and you know that you can deactivate it. All the noobs with first postings may not activate the follow. So a lot of new users are asking a question and get no massage about the answerrs.

Conz: imo the users can really figure it out themselves in 5 seconds flat if they really wanted to. It's not that it is unclear where the option is. After you create a topic you are redirected to it and the "follow this topic" really stands out.
