What Orientation Should This Be Printed In?

I'm working on a little project and i need this handle to print. Seeing how weird of a shape it is, it's printing a little odd. I've tried printing it as is and upright with support, but the former lifted off the bed as it had very little holding it down and the latter was pretty deformed. Would using a brim and printing it on its side help?

EDIT: I'm an idiot. http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:629694

Print it in 2 halves mirrorred from eachother by usung the "cutoff from bottom" function. and the glue it together with superglue(in case of PLA) or acetone(in case of ABS)

I think I'd print that standing but tilted so it looks more like an "S" and with support touching platform enabled. That way you don't have to glue anything and the scarring left by the support would be easy to file away since that surface should just be a flat.

Thanks for all the suggestions, I'll have to give them a try.
